Terms & Conditions — Digital Products & Workshops
These terms apply to digital products and workshops only. Clinical care provided by Dr. Mélanie DesChâtelets, ND is governed separately under BC naturopathic regulations.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing any digital product, workshop, or course (“Product”) offered by Dr. Mélanie DesChâtelets, ND operating as PCOS Health Collective (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not purchase or use any Product.
2. Educational Purposes Only
All Products provide general wellness and health education only. No Product constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No Product creates a practitioner-patient relationship between you and Dr. Mélanie DesChâtelets, ND or any contributing educator.
Always consult your qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your health or wellness routine. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
3. Products Covered
These Terms apply to all digital products sold through PCOS Health Collective, including but not limited to:
- Workshops (e.g., PCOS Without Body War, Beyond the Pill)
- Courses (e.g., PCOS Energy Code, PCOS Pivot)
- Digital toolkits and workbooks (e.g., Body Peace Reset Toolkit)
- Any future digital products or challenges offered under the PCOS Health Collective or Shift Society brands
4. Payment, Access, and Pricing
Payment is processed at the time of purchase through our authorized payment processor. Pricing may vary based on promotional offers, founder pricing, or bundled purchases.
Access to Products begins immediately upon successful payment unless otherwise specified in the sales materials (e.g., a future start date for live workshops).
Products purchased as standalone items provide access to the specific Product only. Products accessed through the Shift Society Premium membership are available for the duration of your active membership.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Pricing changes will not affect access for existing purchasers.
5. Refund Policy — 30 Day Better-Than-Costco Guarantee
If any Product does not meet your expectations, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing hello@drdeschat.com with a brief description of what didn’t work for you.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
This guarantee applies to standalone Product purchases. Refund policies for Shift Society Premium memberships are governed by the membership platform’s terms (Skool).
6. Privacy and Data Use
We comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Personal information collected during purchase is used solely for:
- Delivering the Product and related communications
- Providing customer support
- Sending relevant updates about the Product or related offerings (you may unsubscribe at any time)
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary for payment processing and Product delivery.

7. License and Restrictions
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use purchased Products for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not:
- Share, distribute, or resell any Product or its contents
- Record, screenshot, or reproduce live workshop sessions
- Use any Product content for commercial purposes, including creating derivative works
- Share login credentials or access with others
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All Product content — including but not limited to videos, audio recordings, written materials, worksheets, frameworks, slide presentations, and community posts — is the copyrighted property of Dr. Mélanie DesChâtelets, ND and/or PCOS Health Collective.
The Body Respect Pathway, Practice Architecture, and PCOS Energy Code are proprietary frameworks. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or adaptation may result in legal action.
9. Disclaimer of Outcomes
Results from any Product vary by individual. We make no guarantees regarding specific health outcomes, weight changes, symptom improvement, or any other measurable result.
Any examples, case descriptions, or educational scenarios presented within Products are for illustrative purposes only and do not represent expected results.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability related to any claim arising from your purchase or use of any Product will not exceed the amount you paid for that specific Product.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Product use.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr. Mélanie DesChâtelets, ND, PCOS Health Collective, and any contributing educators or collaborators from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of any Product, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this page. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of any Product after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
